Hello and welcome to the website! You're probably wondering why I created these pages, so first let me give you some background information. My name is Gennie and I lived in what you could say is a haunted house in Pittsburgh up until I was around 18 years old, and my mother Genesta still lives there. Some of the experiences include footsteps, strange music coming from nowhere, orbs floating around the room and my bed shaking violently while I was trying to sleep. I then moved in with my boyfriend (now husband), 300 miles away, and the house we lived in also had a spirit or two inhabiting it. This is when the Haunted Diary website began. Due to unfortunate circumstances, in 2003 we moved from that house in Wilkes-Barre to an unhaunted apartment in Washington DC. I didn't realize how much of a part the paranormal had played in my life until it was markedly absent. Now that my husband and I have finally decided to move, we will be relocating to the Gettysburg area, and the house we have chosen to move into was built before 1760. Given its age and location, is this house haunted as well? Read on as I begin a new journal of possible paranormal activity. My mother has her own section of the website dedicated solely to her experiences in her own words, which contains EVPs as well as other evidence we have obtained. This website is a collaboration of both of us, therefore you will find experiences from both houses listed, as well as a ghost cam from each.
