My mother's house The experiences I had while living in my mother's house.
The Growl An unusual experience that happened while over someone's house.
As far back as I can remember I have had strange experiences. My mother said that when I was around two years old I'd always be talking about these children I would see outside playing, and sometimes I even played with them in my room, however, she never saw anyone. I remember the time when I was four years old and looked out my bedroom window and saw a plane crash into the woods below. I still have that image burned in my memory, but for some reason thought it was a dream until recently. Anyway, I saw a plane crash, so I run down the steps screaming and carrying on about it. My mother goes outside with me, but when we go and look, there is no plane there at all. I guess I must have even told her about a specific location of the bodies, because she remembered this.
Later on that day however, she was watching the news and found out a plane DID crash, and the bodies were found in a similar location that I had described.
Now I don't remember this, but my mother also tells me about the time when I was around four and we were walking up to the corner store. I stopped by the side of the road, pointed, and said, "Mommy, why is that man hurt? What's wrong with him?" She of course didn't see anything, and was rather spooked about it. That evening, my mother hears sirens outside the house, so she goes to investigate what is going on. She walks a little up the road and sees a man laying in the street at the exact spot I had pointed to hours before, dying.
Apparently he was in a high speed persuit with the police and wiped out on his motorcycle.
I also remember the time when I was eleven years old. We were living an apartment at the time, my mother, brother and I. It was around Christmas, and my brother was playing downstairs at the neighbors. My mother was getting a shower in the bathroom, and the time was approx. 9pm or so. I remember laying on the couch and looking at the christmas tree, which was positioned right next to the sliding glass doors that led out onto the deck of our second floor apartment. So I am sitting there, just looking at the tree, curled up underneith a blanket, when I see this THING seep in through the top of the cracks of the doors. First a head, then arms, and then a torso. All black, like a shadow. No distinctive figure, but definitely looked male.
So what does an eleven year old do when faced with a situation such as this? Why hide underneith the blanket of course! After a couple of minutes, I felt this rush of cold air come by me. There was no way I was going to peek out, so I remained hidden until about 15 minutes later when my mother came out of the shower. I wasn't expecting her to yell at me however. "Gennie, why did you open those sliding glass doors? It's COLD out!" I finally mustered up enough courage to look out from the covers, and I saw that the sliding glass doors WERE in fact wide open! At the time I don't think I told my mother a spirit did it, rather just kinda mumbled something and hid again. Honestly though, I don't think the apartment was haunted, and that was the only experience I can recall that I ever had there.
